Mohair naturally tends to shed and lose fibers. This is a natural characteristic of the fiber and not a defect.
We recommend shaking out the garment thoroughly and repeatedly, including from the inside. This removes loose fibers that were created during the wool processing and sewing process.
If you shake out the garment before and after each wear, the amount of lint and loose fibers should decrease over time.
Alternatively, you can place the knitted garment in a plastic bag and store it in the freezer for at least 48 hours. This can help set the fibers and reduce shedding.
