We focus on high-quality natural fibers and a responsible selection of our raw materials. In doing so, we pay attention to their origin, the conditions along the supply chain, and processing that is as transparent as possible. Our goal is to preserve the natural beauty and special properties of every fiber – from its origin to the finished yarn.
Cashmere – precious, natural, and consciously selected
The cashmere we use comes from the traditional cashmere regions of Mongolia and Inner Mongolia in China. The fine fiber is obtained from the soft undercoat of the cashmere goat, which develops under the unique climatic conditions of these regions.
When selecting our cashmere, we prioritize responsible sourcing and a controlled value chain. The use of standards such as the SFA – Sustainable Fibre Alliance supports a more responsible approach to cashmere and its natural resources.
Further processing takes place in Italy. Through careful cleaning, preparation, combing, dyeing, and spinning, a yarn is created that preserves the exceptional quality and feel of the original fiber.
Certified standards for selected fibers
Our responsibility extends across various natural and recycled fibers. Depending on the raw material used, we follow internationally recognized standards that support more responsible sourcing, processing, and traceability.
These include, among others:
• SFA – Sustainable Fibre Alliance for responsibly sourced cashmere
• RMS – Responsible Mohair Standard for responsibly sourced mohair
• RAS – Responsible Alpaca Standard for responsibly sourced alpaca fibers
• GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard for textiles made from certified organic fibers
These standards represent different requirements and apply to the respective certified fibers and products. For us, they are an important part of our commitment to making the origin and processing of our materials more responsible.
