Cashmere
Cashmere is one of the rarest fibers in the world and is combed from the undercoat of Chinese and Mongolian goats. Because cashmere is soft and fluffy, it can be prone to pilling, which is caused by rubbing during regular use. This is completely normal and pilling can preferably be removed with a special comb.
Alternatively, you can store the knitted item in a plastic bag in the freezer for 24-48 hours to set the fibers, and then shake it out.
If cashmere is aired overnight and allowed to rest for a day, odors will dissipate and the fine hairs will stand up again, ensuring the cashmere sweater remains supple and soft. Moths love cashmere. To keep clothes moths away from cashmere, simply place cedar wood in the closet.
Please store your purchased cashmere product flat and do not hang it.
Due to the weight of the cashmere wool, your cashmere product may stretch by up to 3-5cm.
Dry cleaning is recommended.
Iron on a low setting.
Air your knitted garment by hanging it in a shaded place. If necessary, you can have your cardigan dry cleaned. Please do not hand wash and never put your cardigan in the washing machine or dryer.
Mohair rarely pills, but it generally tends to shed fibers, which is a natural process and not a defect.
Repeated shaking is recommended.
This will initially remove loose fibers that have accumulated during the processing of the wool and sewing.
With repeated shaking before and after each wear, the shedding will decrease over time.
