Cashmere
Cashmere is a particularly high-quality and delicate natural material.
Especially with new cashmere products, natural friction during wear can lead to so-called pilling. Individual fibers may also detach from the yarn and form light lint. In principle, this is not a material defect, but rather one of the typical characteristics and part of the natural maintenance required for this material.
To preserve the beauty and quality of the garment in the long term, any lint and knots that form should be removed regularly and carefully. Proper care is therefore an important part of handling cashmere.
Those who do not wish to or cannot undertake the associated maintenance should perhaps consider a less delicate material.
A proven care tip: Place your knitwear in a sealed plastic bag in the freezer for 24–48 hours. The cold helps to stabilize the fine fibers. Afterwards, shake out the garment.
Cashmere regenerates particularly well with fresh air. Let your knitwear air out overnight after wearing and give it a day of rest. This allows odors to dissipate naturally and the fine fibers to straighten back out.
Always store your cashmere product lying flat and do not hang it up.
To protect against clothes moths, we recommend placing cedar wood in your wardrobe.

Mohair
Mohair is characterized by its silky sheen, its lightness, and its exceptional durability.
Air out your knitwear after wearing in a shaded area. This keeps it fresh for a long time and means it rarely needs to be cleaned. If necessary, we recommend professional dry cleaning.
Please do not wash mohair by hand and do not put it in the washing machine or tumble dryer.
Mohair hardly tends to pill, but may shed slightly at first. This involves loose fibers from the manufacturing process – a natural occurrence and not a quality defect.
Regular shaking before and after wearing helps to remove loose fibers. The shedding will decrease significantly over time.
For mohair too, freezing for 24–48 hours in a sealed plastic bag can help to further stabilize the fibers.

Alpaca
Alpaca wool impresses with its exceptional warmth, lightness, and natural softness.
Air out your knitwear regularly in a shaded area. This keeps the fiber fresh for a long time and rarely requires cleaning.

Please refrain from hand washing as well as cleaning in the washing machine or tumble dryer.

Silk
Our knitwear made of 100% finest mulberry silk delights with its luxurious sheen, its exceptional softness, and its natural elegance.
Silk is a high-quality natural fiber and should be treated with special care. Like wool, it also possesses natural properties that can be impaired by frequent washing.
We therefore recommend airing out silk knitwear regularly after wearing. This keeps the material fresh for a long time and maintains its natural drape.
If cleaning is necessary, we recommend exclusively professional dry cleaning.
